eros the bittersweet

spellbound | poem eighteen

ignition and explosion
of the fire between us
of the flames that
find its way through
your veins
thunder and lightning
fireworks and stars
teardrops and cries
i lie in unending
desire to be held by
you and be wanted
like i never have
and in your arms
i lie
perfectly still.
